Electrical System
Rodent damaged wiring harness for direct injection system while while vehicle was parked outside home at night. After repair, damage happened again, dealer and manufacturer response was that i was responsible for repiar and suggested an adhoc set of solutions to discourage animals -- dryer sheets, pinesol, commercial animal repellent.

As i was driving, all of the lights (oil, brake, abs, check engine) all of it came on at the same time and made a noise and the car shut down , while i was driving. I am a college student with a commute, and thank god i was near a neighborhood to pull over immediately. I tried waiting 10 minute to restart, and it would not even start because the whole thing was dead and the lights were on. This nearly killed me.

The car was parked outside on the drive way and at 4am on 12/4/19 when i was about to go to work i realized the dashboard had exploded. No signs of a break in because the car was locked. I am not sure what happened but i have never had any issues since i got this car and out of a sudden the dashboard just explodes. What if this happened when i was driving? 3 different concerns issue #1: while in motion the abs and brake light come on, speedometer goes to 0, other gauges go crazy. Happens off and on throughout the day while driving. Took it to a mechanic, they said it is the abs module going out, to fix it with a brand new part would be $1800.
