Model: toyota camry year: 2000 problem: brake shivers or shudders when applied. It happens all the time. The car does not come to a stop as soon as the brake is applied. In fact, the car moves some distance and comes to a stop. Resolution: change parts of the brake (ever since i bought the vehicle) . This has been at least 10 times. On sept. 14, 2009 i was backing up in a parking lot, to let another vehicle pass. My car suddenly began moving backward very rapidly and smashing into others vehicles and a child. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance because my neck was hurting. I did not receive a ticket from the attending police officer, as she did not feel i did anything negligent. The car was totaled by my insurance company. *tr
