Accelerator gets stuck open. I took my foot off the gas and the vehicle accelerated. It would rev at high speeds when i stepped on the brake. I tried downshifting with no effect. When i finally stopped at a stoplight with both feet on the brakes the engine revved up to very high rpms, even when i put the vehicle in park. Then it finally stalled out.

On numerous occasions when coming to a stop by car will shut off. The car when sitting has a rough idle (400-500 rpm) with all heat/ac etc turned off but can vary at times of an idle of 700-900rpm notably when a/c is on it drags the rpms down to 300-400 and will shudder at a stop.
