In little over a year, a check engine alert occurred that was the result of a problematic gas cap, depressurizing the gas tank. The first occurrence was under warranty, but the second occurrence cost $130 to replace the gas cap. Replacing a gascap twice in 14 months would seem to be a design or manufacturing flaw and should not cost $130.

While driving with the cruise control on i applied the brakes and the car started speeding up. This has issue has done this 2 times. It took me several time by hitting the cruise switch to get it to stop accelerating. I feel problem is going to cause some to get injured or possibly killed. *tr

While in slow motion as trying to move over from an entrance lane to a traffic lane the car will stall (bogs down) when accelerating the gas. This happens also when trying to turn from almost a stop to accelerating. This happens on all type streets and highways. I have asked the dealership about this and they just say that this is normal.
